Your Impact

As a member of the Google Sales team, you could be:

  • Driving Growth: Expanding their market presence and consistently exceeding sales targets by identifying opportunities and positioning Google's diverse suite of products and services.
  • Building Relationships: Cultivating and nurturing long-term partnerships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor, and influencing their strategic direction.
  • Delivering Solutions: Understanding complex business objectives and translating them into actionable strategies, showcasing the value and effectiveness of Google's platforms.
  • Collaborating Cross-Functionally: Working closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Customer Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
  • Managing Portfolios: Owning a client portfolio, managing sales pipelines, and providing accurate forecasts to ensure customer success, adoption, and expansion.

Types of Experience Required for Google Sales Roles :

To apply for sales and sales-related roles at Google, candidates typically need to demonstrate experience in the all or some of the following areas:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is generally required.  
  • Eligibility for Disability Inclusion Programs: These roles are specifically open to candidates who have a disability, neurodivergence, mental health, or long-term health condition. This includes, but isn't limited to, conditions like dyslexia, dyspraxia, autism, ADHD, visual impairment, hearing impairment, diabetes, epilepsy, depression, or anxiety disorders, as well as any other physical or mental health conditions.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential, along with the local language of the region (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Polish, Romanian). 
  • Sales and Account Management: Experience in full life-cycle sales, quota-carrying sales (especially in cloud or software), account management, or business development in enterprise software, cloud, digital advertising/media, or IT- is highly valued.  
  • Client Relationship Management: Strong skills in building and cultivating relationships with clients, including C-level executives and senior stakeholders.  
  • Data Analysis and Strategic Planning: Ability to analyse data trends, consumer insights, and develop strategic plans and compelling narratives to drive growth.  
  • Negotiation Skills: Experience in negotiating and managing complex business cycles.
